PLMP Customer Portal — User Manual

This manual walks through every screen you can reach in the PLMP Customer Portal, captured directly from the live application so what you see here is exactly what you'll see when you sign in. Where something isn't finished yet, we say so plainly rather than gloss over it.

Individual customers

Most accounts. You'll see Home, My Products, Orders, Invoices, Account Statement, Refunds, Request Service, My Service Requests, Deliveries, and Returns.

Organisation / corporate customers

Accounts linked to a registered company. You see everything an individual customer sees, plus four extra screens — Fleet, Sites, Users & Roles, Approvals — and your Home screen is an organisation dashboard instead of a personal one. The portal decides which experience to show automatically; you never have to choose.

Sign-in

Getting into your account safely, without a password.

Sign in with a mobile number (OTP)

Route: the screen you land on the moment you open the portal without an active session Who sees it: everyone, until they've verified a one-time code
Sign-in screen asking for a mobile number, with a Send code button
Step 1 — enter your mobile number
Enter your code screen confirming a 6-digit code was sent
Step 2 — enter the 6-digit code you were sent

Purpose

Get into your account safely, without needing to remember a password — just your mobile number and a code we text you.

What you see

  • Step 1 — "Sign in": a mobile number field (with placeholder +919812345678 and a hint to include your country code), and a "Send code" button.
  • Step 2 — "Enter your code": a message confirming "We sent a 6-digit code to <your number>", a 6-digit verification code field, a "Verify and continue" button, and a "Use a different number" link to go back and start over.

What you can do

  • Enter your mobile number and request a code.
  • Enter the 6-digit code you received and verify it to sign in.
  • Go back and re-enter a different mobile number if you made a mistake.

Honest limitations

Good to know There is no password option — sign-in is always by mobile number and one-time code. If you enter a number that isn't registered, the portal deliberately shows the exact same "code sent" confirmation as for a registered number — a privacy rule so nobody can use this screen to check whether a phone number has a PLMP account. Error messages you might see (invalid number format, too many attempts, incorrect/expired code) are always shown in plain language, never as a technical error code.

Related screens

Home

Your starting point after signing in — the portal automatically shows the right version for your account.

Home (individual customer)

Route: / Who sees it: every individual customer
Home screen for an individual customer with My Products and Orders tiles
Home — individual customer view

Purpose

A quick, friendly starting point that shows what's available in your account.

What you see

A welcome heading and four tiles:

  • My Products — assets you own, their warranty/plan status, and support options (a real, clickable link).
  • Orders — your current purchases (a real, clickable link).
  • Payments/Refunds — "Coming soon" (shown greyed out, not clickable).
  • Need Help? / Raise Service — "Coming soon" (shown greyed out, not clickable).

What you can do

Click the "My Products" or "Orders" tile to go to that screen.

Honest limitation

Good to know The "Payments/Refunds" and "Need Help?/Raise Service" tiles on this Home screen are placeholders only — shown so you know these areas exist, but clicking them does nothing yet. The real, working versions already live elsewhere in the portal (see Invoices, Account Statement, Refunds, and Request Service in the navigation bar); this Home screen's own tiles simply haven't been wired up to link to them yet.

Related screens

Home (organisation / corporate customer)

Route: / (shown instead of the individual Home once the portal detects your organisation account) Who sees it: only customers whose account belongs to a corporate/organisation account
Corporate home dashboard for Demo Manufacturing Pvt Ltd with five tiles
Home — organisation view, showing the corporate account number and five tiles

Purpose

A dashboard for managing your whole organisation's PLMP relationship in one place — assets, sites, people, orders, and approvals.

What you see

Your organisation's legal name as the page heading, a subheading showing your corporate account number and member count (e.g. "Corporate account CUS-0001 · 4 members"), and five tiles:

  • Asset Fleet — every asset your organisation owns, by site, category, coverage, and status.
  • Sites — your organisation's registered locations.
  • Users & Roles — everyone with access to this organisation account.
  • Orders — your organisation's current purchases.
  • Approvals — purchases and requests awaiting a decision.

What you can do

Click any tile to go to that screen.

Honest limitation

Good to know Every member of your organisation sees the exact same set of tiles today — the portal does not yet hide or show tiles based on a person's specific role (e.g. an "Approver" vs. a general staff member). This is a deliberate, safe default while a full role/permission model is still being designed.

My Products

Everything about the products registered to your account, from a quick list down to a full digital passport.

My Products (list)

Route: /products Who sees it: every customer (a corporate account sees the organisation-wide list)
My Products list showing one Bedroom AC Daikin product card with an active status badge
My Products — a product card with its serial number and status

Purpose

See every product registered to your account and its basic status at a glance.

What you see

A grid of product cards, each showing the product name (or "Unnamed product" if not set), the asset's serial/reference number, and a status badge (active or a neutral badge for any other lifecycle status). If you have no registered products, you'll see a friendly empty message telling you to contact support if that seems wrong.

What you can do

Click any product card to open its full details (the "Asset Card").

Related screens

Asset Card (product detail)

Route: reached by clicking a product on My Products (no separate URL) Who sees it: every customer, for their own products only
Asset card showing working status, plan coverage, warranty, next PM, and a View Passport button
Asset Card — condition, plan coverage, warranty and next maintenance date

Purpose

See everything important about one specific product — its condition, plan coverage, warranty, and upcoming maintenance.

What you see

  • Working status — a badge (e.g. "active").
  • Plan coverage — your plan's name and the date it runs until, or "No active plan coverage" if you don't have one.
  • Warranty — the manufacturer warranty date, or "Not yet available".
  • Next PM — your next scheduled preventive-maintenance date, or "Not yet available".

What you can do

  • View Passport — opens the full digital passport for this product (a working button).
  • Get Support — currently disabled, labelled "Coming soon".
  • View Service History — currently disabled, labelled "Not yet available".
  • A "Back to My Products" link to return to the list.

Honest limitation

Good to know "Get Support" and "View Service History" exist on the screen but do nothing yet — they are visibly disabled rather than hidden, so you know they're planned but not live. To actually request service today, use "Request Service" in the main navigation instead.

Related screens

Passport (signed-in owner view)

Route: reached via "View Passport" from the Asset Card (no separate URL for this signed-in view) Who sees it: only the signed-in owner of that specific product
Signed-in Passport view showing status, plan, installation, warranty, maintenance, service history and documents
Passport — the full owner view, with model and serial number

Purpose

A complete digital record of your product — like a detailed ownership certificate — including its history and documents, in one place.

What you see

The product name, model code, and serial number, then a set of details:

  • Status — the current lifecycle status.
  • Plan — plan name and coverage end date, or "No active plan coverage".
  • Installation / commissioning — details of when it was installed/commissioned, or "Not yet available".
  • Warranty — warranty details, or "Not yet available".
  • Maintenance history — or "Not yet available".
  • Service history — or "Not yet available".
  • Documents — or "Not yet available".

What you can do

Use the "Back to product" link to return to the Asset Card.

Honest limitation

Good to know Several sections (installation/commissioning, maintenance history, service history, documents) show "Not yet available" whenever that underlying information hasn't been populated for a given product — this is a genuine per-product data state, not a broken screen. The fields themselves are real and will show real data once it exists.

Orders

A simple, read-only look at your purchases.

Orders

Route: /orders Who sees it: every customer (a corporate account sees the organisation's orders)
Orders list showing an order card with a confirmed status badge
Orders — order number and status at a glance

Purpose

See a simple list of your current purchases and their status.

What you see

A list of order cards, each showing the order number and a status badge — confirmed, on hold, cancelled, or a neutral badge for any other status. If you have no orders, a friendly empty message is shown.

What you can do

This is a read-only list today — there is nothing to click through to on individual orders yet.

Honest limitation

Good to know Orders cannot currently be opened for more detail from this screen — you see the order number and status only.

Service & Delivery Tracking

Raise a service request, follow its progress, and check on deliveries and returns.

Request Service

Route: /service-request Who sees it: every customer with at least one registered product
Request Service form with product dropdown, issue description, safety check, and preferred appointment fields
Request Service — the form, ready to fill in
Request received confirmation message with a link to My Service Requests
After submitting — "Request received" confirmation

Purpose

Tell us something is wrong with one of your products so we can arrange a technician visit — kept deliberately simple.

What you see

A form titled "Request Service" with:

  • Choose product — a dropdown of your eligible products.
  • Tell us what is wrong — a free-text description box.
  • Safety check — "is there any burning smell, sparking, or exposed wiring?" (optional free text).
  • Photo/video (optional) — shown but disabled, with a note that this isn't available yet.
  • Preferred appointment — an optional free-text note (e.g. "Weekday mornings preferred").
  • A "Submit" button.

What you can do

Fill in the form and submit a new service request. After submitting, you'll see a "Request received" confirmation with a link straight to "My Service Requests" to track it.

Honest limitations

Good to know You cannot attach a photo or video yet, even though there's a labelled space for it — a technician can ask for photos during the visit instead. The form intentionally never asks you to pick a priority level, warranty/entitlement status, or a technical fault code — PLMP works that out on its own once you submit. If your account isn't yet linked to a registered customer profile, you'll see a message asking you to contact support instead of the form.

My Service Requests (list and detail)

Route: /service-tracking Who sees it: everyone — shows "You haven't raised any service requests yet" if empty
My Service Requests list showing a ticket with a Request Received stage badge
List view — reference number, description, and current stage
Service request detail with the full stage journey highlighted
Detail view — the full stage journey for one request

Purpose

Track the real-time progress of any service request you've raised, in plain language.

What you see (list)

Each service request shown with its reference number, your description of the issue, and a stage badge. Stages you may see: Request Received, Technician Assigned, Repair in Progress, Working Again, Completed.

What you see (detail)

The same reference number and description, plus a row of stage badges showing your request's full journey with your current stage highlighted. If the item is fixed but not fully closed out yet (e.g. a manufacturer warranty claim is still being processed), you'll see a highlighted message such as: "Your AC is working again — We are still completing the OEM warranty recovery. No action is required from you." — this exact message only appears at the "Working Again" stage.

What you can do

Click any request in the list to see its detail; use "Back" to return to the list.

Honest limitation

Good to know The design specification for this screen describes two additional intermediate stages — "Visit Scheduled" and "Waiting for Part" — that this screen does not yet show. The system currently cannot reliably tell those two apart from "Technician Assigned" or "Repair in Progress" with the information it has today, so it honestly collapses into the five stages listed above rather than guessing.

Related screens

Deliveries

Route: /deliveries Who sees it: every customer
Deliveries list with a status badge
Deliveries — delivery number and status

Purpose

See whether the products you've ordered are still being prepared or have already been delivered.

What you see

A list of deliveries, each with its delivery number and a status badge: "Preparing for delivery" or "Delivered". An empty state is shown if you have no deliveries yet.

What you can do

This is a read-only status list.

Honest limitation

Good to know Only two statuses exist today — "Preparing for delivery" and "Delivered" — there is currently no in-between "out for delivery" or "dispatched" status, because the underlying system doesn't track that level of detail yet.

Related screens

Returns

Route: /returns Who sees it: every customer
Returns list with a status badge
Returns — reference number and status

Purpose

Check the status of any return you've requested.

What you see

A list of return requests, each with its reference number and a status badge: "Submitted — awaiting review" (in progress), "Approved" (green), or "Not approved" (red). An empty state is shown if you have no return requests.

What you can do

This is a read-only status list — there's no way to start a new return from this screen itself.

Honest limitation

Good to know This screen deliberately does not show internal warehouse handling details (restocking, quarantine, repair, supplier return, or scrapping) — that's internal operational information, not something you need to see to track your own return.

Finance / Invoices

Everything about what you owe, your running balance history, and refunds.

Invoices

Route: /invoices Who sees it: every customer linked to a billing profile
Invoices table now with a Payment column showing a Pay now action
Invoices — now with a real "Pay now" action per invoice (via Razorpay), shown here honestly disabled since no live Razorpay account is configured in this environment yet

Purpose

See every invoice raised against your account, how much of each is still owed, and pay it online.

What you see

A table of invoices with columns: Invoice (number), Date, Due (date), Amount, Balance due, Status (a badge — settled, partially settled, or neutral for any other status), and a new Payment column with a "Pay now" action per invoice that still has a balance due.

What you can do

Click "Pay now" on any invoice with an outstanding balance to open Razorpay's real checkout and pay it online. The button honestly shows "Pay now (unavailable)" when the platform's Razorpay account isn't configured yet (its exact current state in this environment) rather than a broken or fake checkout. Once paid, the page does not trust the browser's own success message — it waits for Razorpay's own signed confirmation before showing the invoice as settled, so a closed browser tab or a flaky connection can never show a false "paid" state.

Honest limitation

Good to know Online payment is real and fully built, but only goes live once the platform owner connects a real Razorpay account — until then, every "Pay now" button honestly shows as unavailable rather than a broken checkout.

Account Statement

Route: /account-statement Who sees it: every customer linked to a billing profile
Account statement with a running balance transaction table and invoice status table
Account Statement — your running balance, like a bank statement

Purpose

See your full running balance history — every charge and payment, in order, with a running total — the way a bank statement works.

What you see

One card per financial account you have (accounts are kept separate by currency — you'll never see amounts from two different currencies mixed into one running balance). Each card shows a heading naming the currency and the current closing balance, a transaction table (Date, Description, Debit, Credit, Balance), and below that an "Invoice status" table repeating each invoice's number, amount, balance due, and status badge.

What you can do

Read-only — browse your statement history.

Honest limitation

Good to know If you have accounts in more than one currency, you'll see a separate statement card for each — they are never combined into one total, since mixing currencies in a single balance wouldn't be meaningful.

Related screens

Refunds

Route: /refunds Who sees it: every customer
Refunds card noting that refund tracking is coming soon, with an empty state
Refunds — tracking is built, but there's nothing live behind it yet

Purpose

Track the progress of any refund approved for your account.

What you see

A card titled "Refunds" with the note "Track the progress of any refund approved for your account. Refund tracking is coming soon." Below it, an empty-state message: "You have no refunds in progress."

What you can do

Nothing yet — this screen is read-only and currently always shows no refunds.

Honest limitation

Good to know This is the clearest "not live yet" screen in the portal. The screen and its visual design are fully built and tested — including the exact three-stage format a refund will eventually show ("Approved", "Submitted to payment provider", "Credited") — but there is currently no real refund data behind it anywhere in the system, so it always shows "no refunds in progress" regardless of your account. This is intentional and disclosed, not a bug: a live version needs commercial decisions about how refunds officially work end-to-end (approval authority, payment provider handling, etc.) that haven't been finalized yet. Nothing fabricated is ever shown here.

Organisation features corporate accounts only

These four screens only appear in the navigation bar — and only work — for customers whose account is linked to a registered organisation. An individual customer will not see these at all.

Fleet

Route: /organisation/fleet Who sees it: only organisation/corporate customers
Asset Fleet table with columns for asset, category, site, coverage, health and service status
Asset Fleet — every product your organisation owns, in one table

Purpose

See every product your organisation owns in one master list, across every site.

What you see

A table titled "Asset Fleet" with columns: Asset (serial number + product name), Category, Site, Coverage (plan name, or "None"), Health (a badge: active, decommissioned, or amber for anything else), and Service status (an amber badge showing the number of open tickets, or a green "No open tickets" badge).

What you can do

Read-only browsing of the full fleet table.

Honest limitation

Good to know There are no bulk actions or data exports on this screen yet — those are planned for later, once the organisation permits/roles they'd depend on are finalized.

Related screens

Sites

Route: /organisation/sites Who sees it: only organisation/corporate customers
Sites table with address, type and primary columns
Sites — every physical location registered to your organisation

Purpose

See every physical location registered to your organisation.

What you see

A table titled "Sites" with columns: Address (address line plus city/state/postal code), Type, and Primary (a badge shown only on your organisation's primary address).

What you can do

Read-only browsing.

Related screens

Users & Roles

Route: /organisation/users Who sees it: only organisation/corporate customers
Users and Roles table with name, role, since and status columns
Users & Roles — everyone with access to your organisation's account

Purpose

See everyone who currently has access to your organisation's PLMP account, and their role.

What you see

A table titled "Users & Roles" with columns: Name, Role (a badge), Since (the date they joined), and Status (a green badge, e.g. "active").

What you can do

Read-only browsing — you cannot invite, remove, or change anyone's role from this screen.

Honest limitation

Good to know Roles are shown purely for information. The portal does not yet use roles to hide or restrict screens for different organisation members — everyone in your organisation currently sees the same set of organisation screens, regardless of their listed role.

Related screens

Approvals

Route: /organisation/approvals Who sees it: only organisation/corporate customers
Approvals card noting nothing is waiting on your approval
Approvals — correctly empty, since no purchasing-approval workflow exists yet

Purpose

See purchases or requests waiting for someone in your organisation to approve.

What you see

A card titled "Approvals" with the description "Purchases and requests awaiting a decision." Below it, an empty-state message: "Nothing is waiting on your approval."

What you can do

Nothing yet — there is currently no way to approve or reject anything here.

Honest limitation

Good to know This screen genuinely and correctly always shows "nothing waiting" today, because no corporate purchasing-approval workflow has been built into PLMP yet. The screen proves the connection to your organisation works correctly; it doesn't yet have anything real to show you, and it never invents fake approval requests to fill the space.

Passport & Download

Two public pages that don't need a PLMP account at all.

Public Passport (QR scan, no sign-in)

Route: /passport/public/<asset number> — the page a QR code on a physical product links to Who sees it: anyone — no PLMP account or sign-in required
Public passport page with a PLMP-authentic product badge, product name, model, serial number and status
Public Passport — the same product, seen by a stranger with no account

Purpose

Let anyone confirm a product is a genuine, PLMP-registered item and see its very basic status — for example, a second-hand buyer checking authenticity before purchase.

What you see

A green "PLMP-authentic product" badge, the product name, its model code and serial number, and a plain status line (e.g. "Status: Active"). At the bottom, a note: "Sign in to your PLMP account to see full ownership, warranty, and service details." If the code doesn't match any registered product, you'll see: "No PLMP-registered asset matches this code."

What you can do

Nothing interactive — this is a read-only public confirmation page.

How this differs from the signed-in Passport view

Privacy by design This public version is deliberately limited to only a few basic, non-sensitive facts (product name, model, serial number, and a simple status). It never shows who owns the product, warranty dates, plan coverage, maintenance/service history, or documents — all of that only appears once the product's actual owner signs in and opens their own Passport from "My Products". Since anyone can scan a QR code, the public page is built so there is no way for it to leak a previous or current owner's private details.

Related screens

None directly — it exists outside the main portal. Signing in and viewing your own product gets you the fuller Passport instead.

Get the Technician app (smart download page)

Route: /download — reachable without signing in Who sees it: anyone — built for field technicians to get the app onto their phone
Download page for the Blukaal Technician app with a QR code and store badges
Download page — a QR code, store badges, and a fallback to the web portal

Purpose

Make it easy to get the PLMP Technician companion app onto your phone, whichever platform you use.

What you see

A heading "Get the Blukaal Technician app" with its bundle ID and a short description (the field-technician companion app for Service Ticket lookup, visit/resolution recording, and asset lookup, built to work offline). Depending on your device, in a sensible order:

  • A "Scan to open on your phone" QR code (shown first if you're clearly on a desktop computer).
  • A Google Play badge, highlighted as "Recommended for your device" if you're on an Android phone.
  • An App Store badge, highlighted as "Recommended for your device" if you're on an iPhone.
  • A fallback card: "No time to install right now? Continue to the PLMP web portal in your browser instead."

What you can do

Scan the QR code with another device, tap a store badge (once live), or continue to the web portal instead.

Honest limitation

Good to know Both store badges currently show "Coming soon" and are not clickable. This is accurate as of today: no real Google Play Store or Apple App Store listing exists yet for the Technician app — both the Android and iOS release-signing work are still blocked on the business owner obtaining their own Google Play Console and Apple Developer accounts and credentials. Once a real store listing goes live, this page is designed so the links can start working through configuration alone, without needing to rebuild the page.

Related screens

None inside the authenticated portal — this is a standalone public page.
